Trakai Island Castle, Lithuania

This is a beautiful postcard of Trakai Island Castle that I got through a swap with Ugne. I really like the postcard, that castle looks really beautiful. Plus, in this postcard it’s covered in snow – which is kind of appropriate for this time of year! :D

The castle was constructed at the end of 14th century and the first decade of the 15th century. :)

mix from all over

I got these awesome postcards through another trade a while ago, and I really really like them!

The first postcard is showing Egg Rock Light in the Acadia National Park, Maine, USA. It was established in 1875, and was was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Egg Rock Light Station on January 21, 1988.

The second postcard is showing Kristiansan.  It’s a city, municipality and the county capital of Vest-Agder county in  Southern Norway. Kristiansand municipality is the 6th largest in Norway. It was a cool postcard to receive cause I only have one other from Norway! :)

The third postcard I got is from Southern California, which is well known for its great waves and beautiful sceneries.

The last, but not least, is a postcard showing Audley Castle, Northern Ireland. It’s one of the best-preserved tower houses in the area,.

Bled, Slovenia

Lake Bled is a glacial lake in the Julian Alps, in the northwestern Slovenia. The area is a popular tourist destination.

Bled Castle is the castle built on top of a 130 meter cliff overlooking lake Bled. The castle was first mentioned in 1004, which makes it one of the oldest in Slovenia. For more into, CLICK HERE!

New Zealand, UK, The Netherlands

I’m kind of behind with posting stuff here. Busy times… Luckily there’s not much to show.

First, I got this cool postcard from Auckland, New Zealand. It was sent to me by my postcard pal Janelle. I think it’s my 2nd card from New Zealand ever. :)

Then I did a swap through Postcrossing forum and got this cool postcard of Harlech Castle. I like the color of the sky here! What I don’t like is that hidious white line in the middle. I hate those sorting machines that made scraps like that. Hate them! But alright, the postcard is cool and I like it, that’s all that matters.

And just this morning I found this awesome postcard in my mailbox. It’s from my newest postcard pal Chantal. I kind of have a soft spot for windmills. I think I have at least ten postcards with windmills in my favorites on Postcrossing site, haha. :)

Postcrossing has been funny lately. I have exactly 4 expired cards (all of them to China or Taiwan) and 4 cards that are traveling way too long. ::annoyed:: I want some more mail…..
