Minsk, Belarus

My friend Luba always sends me wonderful postcards, and I’m a lousy friend and never remember to write down her address when I travel somewhere to return the favor. Sorry for that, I promise I’ll be better. :(

This time she was visiting Belarus and sent me this lovely postcard from Minsk, the capital city. IMAG7826

Lately, I’ve been into this kind of postcards, honestly. I love the view cards, especially with the beautiful photo on it, and I love funny cards as well, but simple things like this are moving higher and higher on my list of postcards I enjoy. Who’d ever say! Also, those “I <3 _____” postcards, haha! I don’t think I’ve ever noticed them before, and then in the last few months they seem to be everywhere!

But anyway, here’s the Minsk postcard – with the name “Minsk” written in different languages. Enjoy it & learn something new! :)

Hawaii & Belarus

What’s new today….

Diamond Head, Hawaii. Sunset. Wow. (I always thought the cities in Hawaii weren’t actuallycities, but more like small towns. Oh, was I wrong or what!? ;)

Second postcard of the day comes from Minsk, Blearus. It’s showing the main building of the railway station, built in 2000. It looks beautiful, I love buildings with loads of windows & lights. You know what’s even nicer about this postcard? It was the first one sent by this (new) user! Welcome to Postcrossing! :)
