A little bit from everywhere.

First of all, I don’t know if any of you Postcrossers are (were) using Google Picassa for storing your scanned postcards. Did I just not notice it before or did they make some sort of changes up there? I’ve noticed I can mainly access my photos through Google Drive, which I don’t really mind that much. But what’s up with the albums and “collections” and adding new photos and… well, basically everything else? It doesn’t allow me to view my albums as they were before – now it just shows photos uploaded by month. It doesn’t allow me to upload new photos what so ever – it just lets me shuffle existing pictures from one “album” to another. And it annoys me so much! It’s a fair chance that I just didn’t figure it out, but it really bugs me, especially since I’ve been using it to store my available postcards & I could easily get them from the albums and share them if I needed to do so. Where do you store your postcard scans? Is there any better option than Google Drive? Tnx in advance.

On a brighter topic, here are three awesome postcards I got in the last two weeks….

First, a wonderful “Hello from Buffalo” from O’Neal! I love this type of postcards and I’m not exactly sure why, but every time I see one of these – I can’t help but think of old movies & TV series. #facepalm Anyway, wonderful postcard. I love it! Thank you, O’Neal!

The second postcard I want to share came from my pal Anu and it’s showing a beautiful “view along Loch Tummel at dusk to Schiehallion (3550 ft) and the mountains of Glencoe in the far distance.” I love the view & the sunset shades of the sky. <3

Last, but certainly not least – this wonderful Greetings from… postcard that came through Postcrossing from sweet Beata. I quite like these Greetings from… postcards but I’m not a crazy collector or anything like that, so this is the first of those I’ve ever gotten. AND I LOVE IT!!! I think I might actually turn into a crazy collector, haha! :) The whole idea is just a great one – you have a nice picture in the background & all sorts of interesting facts about the country. I quite like it! Sadly, as far as I know, they can only be ordered through the Postallove.com website & I’m not much of a “I’ll-order-it-just-so-I-can-say-I-have-it” kind of person. I’d much rather wait until someone sends me one so it’s nicely written and – more enjoyable. :)

And now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s Saturday and I’m off to finish some things that I didn’t have a chance to do during the week. Such as finish crocheting a beanie. And sleep. And enjoy some music. And enjoy some music while sleeping. :)
(I’ve been addicted to THIS song for a while now. You’d think I will get tired of it by now, but nope!
